• In collaboration with the American Lung Association, a
  Basic Asthma Management skills course was
  developed (A case bases, problem oriented program
  designed for all health professionals).
• In conjunction with the University Health Systems
  Consortium, a benchmarking for asthma emergency
  care and inpatient management was developed. From
  this work, the Best Practices for Asthma Care available
  to the members of the UHSC were developed, and for a
  nominal fee access is given to other health care
  providers.
• Conducted an advocacy project examining disparities
  between states in funding for asthma care.
• Surveyed Mountain West Cystic Fibrosis Consortium
  (MWCFC) cystic fibrosis centers regarding practices
  for sexuality Counseling for adolescent cystic fibrosis
  patients, with plans to standardize this care among
  consortium members.
• In conjunction with MWCFC cystic fibrosis centers,
  the standardization of social work practices with CF
  patients is in the making.
