History of the Pediatric Pulmonary Leadership
This slide presentation seeks to provide the PPC trainees with an understanding of the origin, evolution, funding and purpose of the Pediatric Pulmonary Center Training grants as relates to the trainee’s future. Terms such as maternal child health bureau (MCHB), block grants , special projects of regional and national significance (SPRANS) and children with special health care needs (CSHCN) are explained.
An interactive self-study program consists of a series of five tutorials in cultural competence, aimed at familiarizing health care providers with common issues that arise while working with people of diverse cultures.
